Kidswear product development
From Your Idea to a Production-Ready Garment.
You don't need every detail figured out. Just a place to begin.
A sketch, a tech pack, a reference sample, or a garment you want to improve. We work alongside your brand to develop the fabric, fit, and construction -- turning your starting point into something ready to make.

Developed together
Your vision. Thoughtfully refined.
Start where you are
A clear idea.
Or an early possibility.
Some brands arrive with detailed specifications. Others have a silhouette in mind, a fabric they love, or a sample that isn't quite right. Both are good starting points.
Tell us what you want to create, who it is for, and what matters to your brand. We'll help identify the details to resolve and the next steps to take together.
Sketches & ideas
Share a drawing or visual direction. We'll discuss shape, proportions, and the details needed to develop your first sample.
Tech packs
Bring your measurements, materials, and construction notes. We'll review them with you and clarify any gaps before sampling.
Reference samples
Show us the fit, feel, or finish you have in mind. We'll use your references to help define a product that is distinctly yours.
Existing garments
Develop an existing style further. Together, we can revisit fabric, improve fit, and refine construction for your next collection.
A complete tech pack is welcome -- but it isn't a prerequisite for a conversation.
The development journey
Considered at every stage.
A shared process, not a handoff. We work through decisions with you, revisiting the details when a sample shows us something new.

01 / Concept
Understand your vision.
We discuss your product idea, intended age range, brand aesthetic, target price, and launch plans to shape a practical development brief.
02 / Fabric
Find the right feel.
We source options around softness, weight, stretch, and intended use, discussing how each fabric may affect fit, finish, and cost.
03 / Pattern
Give the idea its shape.
Pattern making translates your design into proportions and construction, with attention to silhouette, ease, and how the garment goes together.
04 / Sample
Make it tangible.
A development sample lets you see and feel the design beyond the page -- and gives us a shared starting point for your feedback.
05 / Fit
Review how it wears.
We work through your fit feedback and measurements, correcting length, balance, ease, and openings with children's comfort and movement in mind.
06 / Refinement
Resolve the small things.
We refine seams, finishes, closures, and branding, aligning on revisions and any further sampling needed before the style is approved.
07 / Production
Move forward with clarity.
Once the sample and specifications are approved, we confirm the bulk production details together, using the agreed garment as the reference for making and quality control.
Fabric sourcing & material development
The right garment begins
with the right fabric.
A beautiful fabric needs to work for the product, too. We help you consider the hand feel, structure, stretch, and care expectations behind each choice -- not just the colour on a swatch.
Our experience includes organic cotton, bamboo, muslin, jersey, French terry, and rib, for everything from soft baby essentials to everyday kidswear.
- Feel & function
- Softness, weight, drape, and stretch suited to your intended style.
- Colour & surface
- Fabric colour, print, and embroidery options that support your collection's identity.
- Practical choices
- Availability, quantity requirements, and cost considered early in development.
Fit, finish & brand identity
The details that make it
unmistakably yours.
Development is where a good idea becomes a considered product. We look beyond appearance to how each garment feels, functions, and represents your brand.
Fit that feels considered.
We work with your sample feedback to refine proportions, adjust patterns, and improve construction. Neck openings, seam placement, closures, and finishing are reviewed in the context of the child and the garment's intended use.
Pattern corrections · Fit adjustments · Construction refinement
A finish that belongs to your brand.
From a subtle woven label to a signature embroidery, we help bring your visual identity into the product. Trims, label placement, private labelling, and packaging are considered alongside the garment, not left as an afterthought.
Custom trims · Prints & embroidery · Labels & packaging
From development to repeat production
Not just a sample.
A foundation to build on.
The aim is a product you understand and approve, with the important decisions resolved before bulk production. That clarity supports your first run -- and gives future collections a stronger starting point.
Before we move into production
- Review and approve the sample, fit, and agreed revisions.
- Confirm fabric, colours, measurements, construction, and branding details.
- Agree quantities, pricing, packaging, and the production schedule.
Let's develop your next collection
Bring what you have.
We'll work forward together.
Send your sketches, tech pack, or reference images. Tell us a little about your brand, the products you have in mind, and where you would value our support.
Estimated quantities and a target timeline are helpful if you have them. If you're still exploring, simply let us know what is undecided.
A conversation is enough to get started.
